I am a 16 year old female, and I am close to buying my own car, and my dad will pay for insurance, but of course it has to be reasonable. I am heavily considering a 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder. I found a convertable that I can afford, but I would get a hard top if it's more to insure a convertable which I'm sure it is so please let me know about how much it would be to insure that kind of car convertable or not. I reside in OH. I have insurance through progressive, my payments are about $230/month. I do finance my vehicle so it's necessary to have full coverage, I do have GAP insurance through my car dealership. OK. Tonight I was sitting at a red light when I heard breaks screeching and before I had time to see where it was coming from I was rear ended by a tow truck.
